The Man Who Married Himself

    Oliver was a man who decided to marry himself because he loved himself and he wanted to know more about him because nobody was a better partner than himself. At least this is what I can understand about the decision he made. For me it’s not necessary to just marry yourself. It’s just fine if you just live with yourself because at the end of the day that is how we end up, only with ourselves. Oliver was a man who didn’t find no one capable to live with the rest of his life, so he decided to live with himself but every human being has necessities so at the end he discovered that he just couldn’t be with himself for the rest of his life.

    Marriage is something really special for some people because it’s supposed to be like a contract for life with only one person but at the end of the day it’s never like that. People get married this days to divorce in months, years or even in days. I think that is important to know ourselves, what we like and what we don’t. Because it’s important to love what we are in order to love another person. I think that we can be better when we have someone who can get the best of ourselves. Oliver married himself and then he divorced because he wanted something else. That’s how we live these days and how people think.

    If you ask me if I am ok with his decision I would say no. Marrying yourself is something that doesn’t need a ceremony, it’s ridiculous. What I think is a good thing to do is to take some time alone with yourself to get to know yourself in order to get to know the world and be with someone who you feel comfortable with. Although sometimes there are people who just can’t find that one person so they live with themselves or even with their pets. Some of them are happy just by themselves.
